Our Classes

We offer classes in various martial arts for ages 4 and up, and tailor to each level of experience. Each of our lead instructors has more than 20 years of martial arts experience, and designs their programs around technique, rigorous physical fitness, tradition, and character building. Brazilian Jiu Jitsu

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) is a highly effective martial art for men, women, and children from all walks of life. It was initially designed as a self-defense system, a combat sport, for the smaller person using leverage against a larger assailant, because not everyone is equipped with the strength, height, or athleticism to overpower someone in a self-defense situation.

All classes consist of warmups, drills, techniques, and live rolling/sparring. Peewee and youth students will learn discipline, self defense, physical fitness, and how to be tough and get out of bad situations. Students are encouraged to participate in tournaments to test their skills and overcome fears, although it is not required.

TaeKwonDo, a well-rounded martial art that originated in Korea, combines combat and self-defense techniques with sport and exercise. It is one of the most popular and widely practiced martial arts in the world today, and has been a part of the Olympic Games since 2000. Training in Taekwondo is an excellent tool for physical fitness and character development for children ages 3 and up! Our classes place a strong emphasis on respect, discipline, and character building. Students must bow and pay respects, learn to work together, respect their peers, and also do well in school and at home. Taekwondo pushes students to become better citizens, and is one of the best martial arts for flexibility and stamina.

We also have a separate Competition Class for those students who qualify and are interested in competing in the sport of Taekwondo.


Muay thai

Muay Thai, or Thai Boxing, is kickboxing from Thailand. It is the national sport of Thailand, and is unique in its standup style in that it uses kicks, punches, knees, and elbows. Other unique elements, such as the clinch, and sweeps or "dumps," make Muay Thai a very effective standup martial art; arguably one of the best in the world. Muay Thai teaches discipline, self defense, and is a great cardio and strength workout for any age. Our class brings together fighting elements with teamwork, fitness, and discipline. Students learn how to kick, punch, knee, elbow, clinch, defend themselves, and spar. Lots of basic fitness drills, with jumping rope, situps, pushups, and other conditioning make a well rounded athlete.

Our Renton Bootcamp class is the perfect combination of cardio, strength training, body weight exercises, and basic martial arts! Our bootcamp instructor - who is also a black belt in Taekwondo and a salsa dancing instructor! - will help you burn those unwanted calories and get in shape for summer! Small class sizes, great music, and friendly atmosphere!
